Logjam developing in TD Cash League

Wins by Randy Dutiaume, Dave Elias, and Bryce McEwen along with a loss by Kyle Werenich has created a four-way tie for second place in the TD Cash League at West Kildonan. The four share 3 wins - 1 loss records and trail Andrew Wickman, whose game this week with Scott Madams was postponed. A Madams win in that game would have created a 6-way first place tie. Dave Tonnellier ( 6-1 loss to Elias) and Eugene Desjarlais (6-2 loss to Brad Haight) both remain winless in four starts. McEwen handed Werenich his fiorst loss i league play (7-5) and Dutiaume defeated David Hamblin (6-1).

Week #4: Werenich Grabs Share of Lead in TD Cash League  - League leader Andrew Wickman had a bye Tuesday in the West Kildonan's TD Cash League and with a win (6-4 over David Hamblin) Kyle Werenich and his team improved their record to 3-0, sharing 1st place with Wickman. With wins, Scott Madams, Randy Dutiaume, and Bryce McEwen all improved to 2-1 to share the next spot in the standings. Dutiaume defeated Dave Tonnellier (5-2), Madams beat Eugene Desjarlais (8-6), and McEwen was the winner over Greg Mikolajek (12-6).

Week #3: Werenich, Wickman Win - Still Perfect in TD Cash League  - Four games were played in the West Kildonan CC TD Cash League Tuesday with Andrew Wickman improving t0o 3-0 and Kyle Werenich improving to 2-0. Wickman was a winner over Greg Mikolajek (7-6 in an extra end) while Werenich's second win was  over Eugene Desjarlais (6-3). David Hamblin, whose game with Bryce McEwen was postponed, is also perfect with one win so far in the league. The other winners Tuesday were Randy Dutiaume and Doug Riach. Each earned their first league victory.  Dutiaume defeated previously undefeated William Kuran (6-2) and Riach beat Brad Haight (7-2).

Week 2: Elias, Wickman Improve to 2-0 in TD Cash League  - Coming off a bonspiel win on the weekend, Dave Elias and his team won their second game in the West Kildonan`s TD Cash League, an 8-2 win over Bryce McEwen`s entry. The Elias team`s 2-0 record gives them a share of first place with Andrew Wickman who defeated Brad Haight (7-4) in their second game. David Hamblin won his first game of league play, defeating Eugene Desjarlais (8-1). Kyle Werenich, who had a second round bye, is also at 1-0. The other round two winner was Scott Madams (8-2 over Dave Tonnellier). Greg Mikolajek and Doug Riach postponed their game.

Game 1: TD Cash League Underway, Defending Champ Loses Opener - The 12-team TD Cash League got underway Tuesday evening at the West Kildonan Curling Club with defending champion Randy Dutiaume going down to defeat 6-4 at the hands of the Bryce McEwen entry. McEwen's new line-up, skipped by Colin Sundell with Dave Kammerlock and Curtis Conan was unveiled on the past weekend at the Pembina bonspiel. Other first round winners were Brad Haight (7-1 over Dave Tonnellier), Andrew Wickman (7-1 over Doug Riach), William Kuran/Dave Elias (8-2 over Greg Mikolajek), and Kyle Werenich (7-2 over Scott Madams). David Hamblin and Eugene Desjarlais had the first round byes.
