Safeway Championship Broadcast Plans Announced

CurlManitoba and Shaw Cable are pleased to announce that the 2012 Safeway Championship to be held February 8 to 12, 2012 in Dauphin, MB will be broadcast both on Shaw Cable, channel 9 and Shaw Direct on channel 299. Westman Communications Group will also carry all games on channel 12 or 112 digitally in the Westman area, but blacked out locally in the Parkland Region. The broadcast schedule will be:

February 8 and 9 Live at 12:15pm to be rebroadcast at 7:00pm (Manitoba only)
February 10 Live at 7:45pm (Manitoba only)
February 11 Live at 6:30pm (Nationally)
February 12 Live at 9:00am and 1:30pm (Nationally)
 
For those viewers not in Manitoba or not able to make it out to Dauphin, CurlManitoba is excited to be able to provide the opportunity for curling fans to catch the games live through online broadcasts at safewaychampionship.ca. Through the expertise of local company Daemon Defense and the cooperation of Shaw Cable Curl Manitoba will pick up the Shaw Cable broadcasts and carry them live over the internet. The broadcast schedule for the online games will be the exact same as the Shaw Cable games.

The most exciting addition to the online broadcast will be the opportunity for viewers to watch the games through mobile devices including smart phones and tablets. Mobile viewers will be able to access the games through safewaychampionship.ca
