The Fort Rouge Curling Club in Winnipeg will play host to the 2011 Manitoba Lotteries Women’s Curling Classic on October 21-24, 2011.  We welcome back our title sponsor, Manitoba Lotteries for an 8th consecutive year and look forward to their continued commitment next year.   We are pleased to have Flatlanders Flooring returning as our presenting sponsor.  In addition, we have five Gold sponsors, eight Silver sponsors and twenty-one Bronze sponsors.  All of these organizations share our vision and passion for this event and continue to make it a premier event and preferred stop on the Women’s World Curling Tour.

Thirty-two of Canada’s and the World’s top teams will assemble in Winnipeg to vie for a prize purse of $60,000, with a top prize of $15,000.  The field includes Canadian and World champions as well as 2010 Olympic Gold and Silver  medalists, Annette Norberg and Cheryl Bernard.  The Manitoba Lotteries Women’s Curling Classic has been selected by the Canadian Curling Association as one of three Grand Slam events for the season.

Once again spectators and fans will see the best in the world and be treated to very exciting and spectacular shot making throughout the four days of the event.  Up-to-date results as well as the complete draw may be viewed by logging onto and/or  starting Thursday and follow the links.
