Organizers are inviting Canadian Junior curlers to take part in the annual No Boundaries Camp and Junior 'Spiel, October 19-21, at the Capital Curling Club in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Camp Coordinator Dave Jensen says early registrants include last year's US National Junior Women's Finalist team from Boston, a high profile Minnesota Junior Men's team which competed at last year's US Nationals, and a pair of teams from Estevan, Saskatchewan.

The unique camp format includes competitive and developmental divisions with camp clinic sessions scheduled between draws.

"Camp participants have a chance to work on the skills they need help with and there is a lot of one-to-one attention from our instructors," Jensen explains. "The bonspiel games provide an immediate opportunity for the young curlers to test concepts and strategies discussed in the camp sessions"

Brandon's Don Campbell, who is one of the high-profile group of instructors at the camp, says the camp format provides an interesting and challenging change from other curling camp formats.

"I don't hesitate at all to recommend the camp," Campbell says. "It is a good format with a group of organizers and instructors who emphasize fun along with the learning."

Along with Campbell and Jensen, instructors at the camp will include 2005 US National Junior Champion Skip Gillian Gervais, USCA Junior Athletic Development Director Lynita Delaney, USCA Instruction Committee Chair Jon Mielke, and 2006 USCA Developmental Coach of the Year Karyn Cousins.

Entry fee for the event is $60 per person which covers the bonspiel and clinics, along with lunches and dinners both Saturday and Sunday.
