2010 Scotties Co-Chair Wendy Friesen Named Altona's Volunteer of the Year

Altona 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts Co-Chair Wendy Friesen (pictured with her Co-Chair Al Friesen at the 2010 event in Killarney) has been named the Town of Altona's Volunteer of the Year. According to a story by Greg Vandermeulen in the local Red River Valley Echo newspaper, Friesen was recognized for her dedication to the Altona Curling Club as well as to many other community organizations.
